Claude system instructions

Claude holds long inputs and follows written constraints closely, so it suits code review, editing and any job with a long instruction list. Marked sections move it a lot. Wrapping the input in tags or clear delimiters improves results more than rewording the instruction does. Claude Code reads a CLAUDE.md file from the repository at the start of every session, which makes that file the right home for project rules.
