ChatGPT desktop app
The native macOS and Windows app: a global hotkey, screen access on request, and a persistent window in place of a browser tab you keep losing.

The desktop app beats the browser tab with its global shortcut. One keystroke opens a chat from anywhere, so you skip switching tabs, finding the window and clicking the input. If you open it dozens of times a day, that adds up.
Screen and window sharing, on the platforms that support it, let it see what you are looking at with no screenshot round trip. You switch it on per use and it does not stay on, but confirm that in the settings on first install and do not take it for granted.
Notes from the author
Pick a global hotkey you do not already use. The default collides with a few common editor and window-manager shortcuts.
