CommandWhat it doesWorth knowing
Transparent background, PNG. Produces a cutout instead of a background you have to remove yourself Say it plainly - do not rely on the model guessing you want a logo asset
Square, 1:1. Sets the aspect ratio Name the shape - square, portrait, landscape - rather than pixel dimensions, which get ignored more often
Keep the same character, only change the background to X. Edits one part of an existing image while leaving the rest recognisably the same Reference the earlier image in the same chat rather than describing the character again from scratch
No text in the image. Stops it adding a caption or label nobody asked for Worth adding by default - stray or garbled text is one of the most common unwanted extras
Flat vector illustration, no gradients, no shadow. Gets a genuinely flat style instead of a shaded one described as flat Naming what to leave out works better than naming a style on its own
Photographed on a 50mm lens, natural light. Pushes toward a realistic photo instead of a rendered or painterly look Camera and lens language signals photorealism more reliably than saying realistic
Redo this, but only change the lighting. Regenerates with a single variable isolated Faster than describing the whole scene again from nothing

Image generation has no slash commands. It has only phrasing, and most of that phrasing is undocumented. This is the set that held up across repeated tries and did not work once by luck.

Notes from the author

The usual failure is an unwanted extra, not the wrong subject: garbled text, a second hand, a background nobody asked for. Naming what to leave out fixes more of these than describing the subject better.
